FAQs

What is ADHDme?

ADHDme is an online platform where we connect UK psychiatrists that specialise in ADHD with adults who are seeking for a professional diagnosis for ADHD.

What is ADHD?

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a condition that affects people’s behaviour. People with ADHD can seem restless, may have trouble concentrating and may act on impulse. (Source: NHS)

Who would be helping me?

You can select from a number of psychiatrists on our Search page, who are all qualified psychiatrists that specialise in ADHD.

Who are the psychiatrists?

The psychiatrists that we work with are licensed, experienced experts that have great knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment for ADHD.

How are the therapists verified?

Yes, all psychiatrists that are available on our site are pre-screened and have an enhanced background check conducted, upon joining our network.

Who can use ADHDme?

ADHDme is specifically designed for adults and children (under 18 years old) as long as there is an adult present during the consultation. Please note that if you are looking for an emergency service, please call 999 or 111 (NHS)

How much does it cost?

You can find the fees for each service that we offer on the psychiatrist’s individual profile page.

How do I book an appointment?

Once you have found a psychiatrist that you are happy to go ahead with, you would be required to book a 10 minute FREE consultation with one of our representatives. Our representative will then provide you more information on the overall process and book you with the chosen psychiatrist based on their availability.

Can I book this for an evening or weekend?

Each of the availabilities for the Psychiatrists will differ and this would be mentioned during your 10 minute consultation.

How long until I get feedback from the psychiatrist?

Once the appointment is completed, the psychiatrist will write a report on their diagnosis and will communicate this to you upon completion of writing the report.

How will the results be communicated to me?

All reports would be sent over to the email address that you will provide us.

If my treatment plan requires prescriptions, how would that work?

The psychiatrist that you will see, will provide all of the details on this during your consultation.
